TOP FAVOURITES APRIL - JUNE 2015

14:55

Hey darlings, welcome to the next half of 2015, the start of a new quarter, the beginning of a new month. July is my birth month as well. So glad its here. I have waited endlessly for this post and so have you. I got so many positive responses from you guys after the last quarterly favourites post in March, so of course, I couldn't wait to do it again. There are so many stuff I've been loving this last quarter but as usual I'm only giving information on my absolute favourites.
As always, I'm proud of my photography skills and I watermarked my photos this time. Yayyy!

1. L'Oreal True Match Foundation

I had this foundation since o but I was saving it for the rainy days. Lol. This time last year I watched Lauren Curtis, an Australian beauty vlogger raving about it on YouTube so I picked it up during my last vacation. Where do I even begin? The consistency? The formula? The coverage? The easy blending quality? Its just amazing. It blends just like a dream, seamlessly and effortless. Its so lightweight, you won't even feel like you're wearing foundation. I cannot wait to take another trip soon so I can buy additional bottles. The shade I use is 'Rose Amber' but I'm considering going one shade darker when next I'm purchasing.

All blended out.

Where to buy: Boots or Superdrug. (For my naija people, I don't know o. Our online stores aren't stocking these yet).
Price:  £9.99

2. W7 Toasted Eyeshadow Palette

My mum gets gifts all the time and mostly in the form of things she never uses, eyeshadows being one of them. Someone gave her this and who else does she pass it on to? ME! This is just the perfect nude quad palette. I've been using it almost everyday for my crease and transition shades. They are shimmery colours but blend very easily. I will do a makeup post using them soon. I hear W7 products are great so I'm glad to have a mini one in my stash now.

Where to buy: Amazon here . Also sighted some W7 eyeshadow palettes at Amigo Supermarket, Abuja.
Price: Can't be more than $10.00 or NGN2,500.

3. L.A Girl Glazed Lip paint in 'Coy'

The L.A Girl Glazed Lip paints are really good with very good colour payoff, consistency and a minty fragrance. I couldn't get my eyes off this deep lilac shade. It gives your entire makeup a bright vampy look without looking harsh. Note that I used it in my outfit post here . I am yet to try other shades from the collection but I'm really really loving this one.

Where to buy: Got mine at Sahad Stores, Abuja.  Also check BeautyKink here . If you're outside Abuja, then check any supermarket with an L.A Girl stand.
Price: NGN1,000

4. Olive Oil Edge Control

Edges, edges, edges. I was so unbothered about what the hype was really about and why it was such a big deal until I had to make a ponytail hairstyle back in April. My stylist used this product on my edges and I remained humble ever since. I had to leave with my own pack. I've really been loving it. No long talk, just get yours.

Where to buy: Jumia here
Price: Got mine for NGN1,500 @ my salon.

5. River Island Quilted Mini Bag

I have a bunch of mini bags that I love carrying over the weekends. Its just so easy and can take up all the major stuff you need in a bag for a couple of hours. But I was seriously lusting after a black quilted one with a gold chain. Couldn't seem to find any one I loved on any of our Nigerian online stores so I hopped on Asos. The rest is history. Not only did I find exactly what I wanted, the price was amazing too. I didn't waste any time ordering it. Though shipping took a little over two weeks, I still got my precious baby together with a bunch of other stuff. Lol.

Where to buy: ASOS here
Price: £10.00

6. Ideal Black Fringe Loafers

You have heard me rave about this pair of shoes in my post here . I needed a cute pair of flat black shoes so I got this on Jumia. The fringe details got me and it was love at first sight. I hope these shoes don't wear out soon because I've been rocking them like crazy. Perfect for Wednesdays and Thursdays when I want to dress down at work and also over the weekends.

Where to buy: Jumia here
Price: NGN4,495.

So how many of you have tried out any of these products and items? Any more questions? Let me know in the comment section below.

    1. Hi Ogechi. I think it would look just as good if you have a neutral eye makeup on being that the colour is so vibrant. Less is more.
